| Federation of European Aquaculture Producers The Federation of European Aquaculture Producers (FEAP) is an international organisation that is composed of the National Aquaculture Associations of European countries. The basic aims of the Federation are: * to develop and establish a common policy on questions relating to the production and the commercialisation of aquaculture species are reared professionally. * to make known to the appropriate authorities the common policies envisaged above. |
| SustainAqua SustainAqua – “Integriertes Vorgehen für eine nachhaltige und gesunde Süßwasseraquakultur“ – ist ein dreijähriges Kollektivforschungsprojekt, welches durch das sechste Forschungsrahmenprogramm der Europäischen Kommission co-finanziert wird. Seit September 2006 arbeitet ein Konsortium mit 23 Partnern aus 12 Ländern an der Optimierung von Nahrungsketten, des Wassermanagements und der Energieeffizienz, um gesunden und schmackhaften Süßwasserfisch und andere ökonomisch wertvolle Nebenprodukte zu erzeugen. Dies wird zunächst durch verschiedene Forschungsaktivitäten erreicht. Das erworbene Fachwissen wird schließlich durch zahlreiche Trainingsmaßnahmen und Aktivitäten zur Informationsverbreitung in Europa bekannt gemacht. |
